As a visionary leader and award-winning entrepreneur, I founded this incredible wellness platform with a mission central to everything I do: championing, empowering, and celebrating women in all facets of their lives, both personal and professional. My journey as an empowerment coach, motivational speaker, psychologist, and most importantly, a woman who has navigated various life stages, from adolescence to menopause, has profoundly shaped my approach to wellness.

My focus is keenly set on mental wellness, particularly for mature women of colour – a group that resonates deeply with my own lived experiences, including bouts of ill health and feelings of insecurity. This specific focus stems from an understanding of the unique challenges faced by women like me, informed by stories of many women I've encountered throughout my life.

The wellness community I established serves as a transformative space for women to reflect and evolve their physical, emotional, mental, and spiritual well-being using practical holistic methodologies. Central to this unique community is my mantra: “It’s not what you look like on the outside, it's how you feel on the inside that counts.”

My work is grounded in the awareness of evidence-based disparities that disproportionately affect women of colour, such as diabetes, heart disease, and high blood pressure. Historically, black women have faced health injustices, and academic studies, like those on Mind.Org, highlight this: “Black and Black British women are more likely to experience a common mental health problem (29%) compared to White British women (21%) and non-British White women (16%).” (2016). Addressing these injustices is a key part of my mission.

The wellness sisterhood I've nurtured is pivotal in upholding the wellness of women of colour, often undervalued due to cultural taboos, ignorance, or fear. Factors like age, diet, mobility, menopause, BMI, and HRT significantly impact women’s health. I have learned and now teach how to embrace the benefits and enjoy the journey through positive motivation and lifestyle changes, particularly for women aged 50+.

Engagement with my community is not just a priority but a passion. I actively connect through social media, public speaking, and workshops, fostering a sense of belonging and inviting others to join a supportive environment. My "Me-ology™" toolkit underpins my commitment to global empowerment initiatives for women, aiming to foster cultural wellness, self-awareness, self-care, and self-empowerment as tools to achieve our best potential.

My life philosophy is simple yet powerful: Amid various external influences, YOU hold the power to shape your well-being. While I cannot change you, I can motivate and guide you to change yourself through this community where you can share, learn, and embrace personal development, health, and well-being. Together, we can develop positive lifestyle changes to achieve personal goals. Join me in this journey of transformation and empowerment.
